Innovation is a powerful force for shaping the future. It fuels economic growth, drives societal progress, and supports sustainable development. From cutting-edge startups to established global enterprises, innovation is the engine behind transformation. But it is also inherently risky—demanding the ability to navigate uncertainty, make difficult trade-offs, and learn from failure before reaching success.

The Innovation Management master’s program equips you to design, lead, and manage innovation in high-tech and sustainable contexts. Rooted in engineering and technology, the program gives you the tools to develop creative, evidence-based solutions to business, societal, and environmental challenges.

You will learn how to:

  • Navigate complex and uncertain innovation processes

  • Design impactful, user-centered, and sustainable solutions

  • Make informed decisions that balance people, planet, and profit

  • Lead innovation initiatives using agile, adaptive, and collaborative methods

The curriculum emphasizes the role of innovation in shaping high-tech industries and sustainable futures, with core themes such as:

  • Managing Innovation Processes – applying agile, scrum, and other tools to structure and accelerate innovation

  • Governing Sustainable Technology and Innovation – understanding global regulation and its impact on innovation and sustainability

  • Multivariate Statistics – applying advanced data analysis techniques to innovation research

  • System Dynamics – using systems thinking to design policies and strategies for long-term change

Alongside the core curriculum, you will select a specialization track that matches your interests and career ambitions. The elective space offers opportunities for customization, from gaining international experience to collaborating in É«ÖÐɫ’s award-winning Innovation Space.

Your journey culminates in a graduation project, often conducted in collaboration with an external organization, where you solve a real-world innovation challenge. This combination of deep academic knowledge and applied experience builds a strong, future-proof profile for a wide range of innovation-focused roles.

As a graduate, you will be a critical, conceptual, and reflective thinker—capable of making responsible decisions in uncertain conditions and designing innovations that create meaningful impact.
